Was fine before the 3.39 patch. Now intermittent crashes, sometimes 2 seconds, sometimes a minute, but dam-near constantly.
Doesn't seem to matter what I am doing - adding cards, searching, increasing "used" numbers, making a deck, sometimes just sitting there it crashes.
Occasionally it's the MTG info box crash that is displayed - mostly it's Windows crashing. It is now totally unstable and cannot be used.

My System:
AMD FX-6300 6-Core (3.5ghz)
16GB mem
Running Windows 7 64bit

I have completely uninstalled the app, wiped it from Reg and folders, CC Cleaned it, rebooted, put on my druid robes and burned the fatted calf, etc. etc. No dice. If anything, it's worse, but who knows. Is there anything that can be done? Has anyone else experienced this?

Yes, I'm having the same issues on 2 different laptops, running windows 7 or 8.1. I can seem to consistently make the program crash when trying to select Judgment and Apocalypse sets in the set filter. At least it did every time the other day. I have previously emailed Gad a bug report. Hopefully it'll be an easy fix to all our issues.
This isn't going to hurt. It's going to leave an emotional scar.....

I've experienced crashes as well, though not as often as you. I can use MTGS for hours some times, or a few minutes and then crash. Probably about 50% of boots will crash for me.

I hope Dev is aware and will address in 3.4 or maybe a minor patch release?
Really want to get back to entering my collection - this is indeed the best collection manager (when it works).

Well, back-revving to 3.28 fixes the issue completely (can use for hours without any issue at all, not a single crash), so definitely something about 3.39.

v3.40 unfortunately still has this crash. I haven't been able to go more than several minutes without crashing to desktop.

The problem went away for me with 3.40, so part of it was fixed.

I've just had the crash again on 3.40. I'm not getting any dialog, just a "MTG Studio has stopped working" message and crash to desktop.

I am having the same issue as keved, it just crashes without warning and goes to desktop.

I spoke to soon. I don't think I'm getting them as much, and it appears that when it happens my collection is up to date with any changes (unlike before), but I still get crashes. No opportunity to send a bug report, and no error code given.

I'm getting the same problem with the last few updates. I get MTG Studio stopped working...

I'm running the portable version of 3.41 on Windows 10 with everything up-to-date.

Do you contact the MtG:S Support ?

Is your computer connected to the Internet?
I just installed the 3.41 portable version and the first took about 20 seconds to display a message about the successful registration of the program.

The spash screen then displayed a "30 days trial" message... because I did a clean install and forgot to copy the licence.key file to the configuration directory.

I haven't contacted Gad directly about this, but I have no bug report to give, since the program just stops. I am on the internet, but that wouldn't make a difference due to the lack of a bug report.
