The OCTGN format of .xml seems to output differently than MTG Studio's xml.

Is OCTGN still alive?
Previously they have used the MTG Interactive Encyclopedia, MTG Play file format.

Please provide me with a link to the new OCTG.

OCTGN 2 is out now. It's not super active but appears to still be alive.

It is possible that I can do support for OCTGN 2 deck format but I doubt that this will be the No.1 feature in the wishlist. If you wish to see such support please use the red "Feature" button on the right of our web site to vote for it.

Octgn 2 support would get you about 33 buyers from my side of town. Seriously, all BS aside. I'll def buy if I can get octgn support from mtg studio. Mtg studio is clearly the best open source deck builder and searcher that I've seen. But without effective and simple directions for how to use a free mtg that can load mtg decks, you're going to loose a lot of potential buyers.

But honestly, any other free online tcg program will do just fine. HAve any recommendations for free programs of that sort supported by MTG studio? If I can get such a thing running, or a guarantee that I can get help with playing for free online using decks I build in MTG studios, and that it is not so hard to do, I'll def buy.

Please help me out, I love your product and i really want to buy it from you.

I will even buy this program for four of my freinds, no joke, i'll give you my email and you can hold me to it, if you can get octgn support. As I understand things, it is easy to do, independent publishers release games on octgn, so I suppose it shouldn't be too hard for you.

I can't remember, but I'm pretty sure Gadd actually already added OCTGN to MagicStudio. It's just not that popular and I found something else that works well so I stopped using it.

There ae two formats OCTG and OCTGN2 formats.

OCTGN format is the same as the one used by Magic Interactive Encyclopedia and MTG Play. This one is supported by MTG Studio.

OCTGN2 is a new format. The pity around it is that the Magic game comes as a separate distribution usually hosted on shared file hosting (as megaupload.com) and the card database identifiers are not regularly updated.
