Portable version is not "so" portable anymore ?

Postby CptDobey » Sat Jan 21, 2012 2:12 pm

Hello,

I upgraded from 2.3 portable to 2.4 portable (I removed everything but card art and collection file).

When I launched 2.4 my collection is empty and when I ask to MTG Studio to locate my collection file this directory opens:
C:\Users\blablabla\AppData\Roaming\PalmROOT\MTG Studio 2.4.0
and the file is called mtgstudio.collection. There, I also find a "card art" directory, a "configuration" directory...

Until 2.3 portable, the collection files was called mtgstudio_portable.collection and is saved within the MTG Studio directory.

Saving files into C:\Users\blablabla\AppData\Roaming\PalmROOT\MTG Studio 2.4.0 is not very portable.

Until now, I used portable version to be able to put it on a USB key and run it on various computers. It is not working anymore.

Regards,
Dob'

Seems like I forgot to rename the mtgstudio.exe to mtgstudio_portable.exe

Please rename it to mtgstudio_portable.exe yourself and you should be good.

I will update the portable download soon as well.
