Modern and OverExtended formats support coming

Postby gaddlord » Tue Aug 23, 2011 5:30 pm

The forthcoming MTG Studio 2.3 will support Modern and OverExtended formats:

1. Supported in set filtering on Filter window
2. Ability to check whether the deck is valid for Modern and OverExtended.

Glad to know!!! But the support will be by sets or by cards?
I mean if I have a 7th Edition Birds of Paradise will be marked as valid in Modern or will be invalid as 7th Edition is not allowed in Modern?

Thanks for your time

Birds are already legal:

What most likely you refer to is that the Formats dropdown on Filter dialog is filtering the sets displayed where most the people expect to see the filter applied over the card results.
