Any update for us anxious users with a pile of M12 cards just waiting to be catalogued? :-)

One other related item on this. I bought a box of M12 and got the "buy a box promo" - Chandra's Phoenix. I can send you a scan of the card so you can get the text, etc. if needed.

2.2 is Awesome

Postby scarecrowmagick » Thu Jul 28, 2011 3:29 pm

Just want to say that version 2.2 is awesome. Love the price lookup feature. Would love to have this function working on buy lists as well.

Can you elaborate on what you call a buylist and how you imagine this to work. Thank you.

Yes, for example on the ABUgames.com site there is a section they call the buylist section. It is searchable by card name and the results tell you how much ABUgames would pay to buy the card from you. They often list different prices for m/nm and slightly played conditions. Starcity games has something similar, as does blackborder.com among others. I would like to see the ellipsis in in the "Buy at" field open a window like the "Sell at" window does that would be populated with the Buylist prices for the card, just like the "Sell at" window populates with the "for sale" prices of many stores now. this feature would really assist retailers in thinning their stock when needed and give an accurate indication of what the proper price to pay for individual cards might be. This would be an invaluable resource. Thank you very much for taking the time to ask of my aspirations for this functions. You really rock.

I do see what you mean now. Unfortunatelly those stores do not have a programatic interface for fetching such data. Judging from my previous experience they are slow and not very open to integrated solutions. Feel free to report this at our voting system (the red button on the right of the page called Feedback). If there is a critical mass of similar requests it may be worth investing in such integration.
