Is it worth the 1Gb download? There isn't much information on the public web site magicthegatheringtactics.com.

I can't really speak from having played a ton... but I've watched a lot of videos and I'd say meh.

It's not magic, you have to pay for 'boosters' like magic, and it suffers from WOTC's horrible design. They can draw cards like Picasso but they can't do 3d models or interface for beans.

I'm still trying to figure out what the heck those little squares mean in the corners of some of icons in MTGO lol. Its like I thought it meant their turn vsus my turn but then it is on sometimes and not others lol.

I played a few games. Its definitely not as good at the card game. You basically have to invest in cards if you want to play online (and not get butt kicked). Game also seems to lack longevity (was getting bored after 2 hours of play). I will keep throwing away my hard earned money on the card game.

In summary, not worth the download, IMHO.

BTW, I am a relatively new customer to MTG Studio. Great program you have here. Glad everything is OK now IRL. I was going a bit nuts looking to see if the program was updated for Besieged (LOL.....sure sign that its a great program).
