In the forthcoming 1.8.2 version additional 38 Magic game formats will be supported.

SELV (Standard, Extended, Legacy, and Vintage) will always be displayed.
All the rest formats will be displayed only if the card is legal or restricted within the format.

All 42 formats will also be supported when checking against Deck Legality.

The format rules validation is now better and the rule violation report is much more extensive.

See the teaser below.

Gad, I've noticed that filtering your deck pool for "pauper" doesn't do anything. All the cards from all the editions remains in the collection.
There should be only common cards.

I know that I can just filter for rarity, but I believe that should work also.
This issue can be voted here: http://mtgstudio.uservoice.com/forums/1 ... ity-filter

But I believe it's a bug, not a feature request... Thanks

The filter dialog is having a Formats drop down. It is important to note that it is a filter for the grid below it containing sets.

It works by filtering out sets which are not valid for the format selected.

Many people expect that Formats filter filters the cards (as MTG Online does) but it is actually a filter for the Sets grid.

Maybe it is time I change this behavior in order to match people's expectations.

I believe it's a good idea, Gaddlord.
It would make things simpler for people making decks from different formats.

Right now, when I'm building a Standard deck, If I filter it with the drop down list, my cards that are reprinted in Standard, from older sets, don't show up, only the ones in current sets. It would be very helpful it the would show up.

Thank you
