TCGPlayer Pricing API

Postby Azul » Sun Oct 21, 2012 1:11 am

I noticed some information on http://store.tcgplayer.com/

It sounds like they have a pricing API available on their site. TCG Player might be a decent option to include in the program as it has a Low/Med/High price available on paper cards that is aggregated from a very large number of stores. It might help to lower some of the pricing abnormalities currently in the program. I've made 70+ orders from different sites on TCG Player so I know that it is a decent place to shop.

Oh, does it? The only place I see in the Import Prices section is MagicTraders.com

I'm slightly confused by the reply to this post. I am running version 3.11 and I can only see the ability to Import prices from Magic Traders and ABU Games in the Import Wizard.
Is there some setting I need to change, or were you referring to the prices displayed in the Card panel of the app?

The import price feature will update "Market Price" (and Market Value) column.

If you click in a cell from the "buy at" or "Sell at" column, a little button will appear on the right of the cell "..."
Click on it. A new window appear and you will have the other stores listed here (if they have your card listed on their site).

You have to do it card by card (unless there is a feature I do not know about).

Personally, I use the import price feature and update the "Sell at" column for every cards which do not have a "Market price" after the import.
Please, note that I'm not a member of MtG-Studio team.
