Hey Gadlord,

Love the work your doing it looks awesome, I bought mtg studio long long ago, probably 3-4 years, not sure exactly. I remember when you first previewed mtgs 2.0 :)

Any idea when it will be released? I'm still looking forward to it :D

Actually I decided instead of porting the program to focus more on the features and right now I am adding something new in each new release. For the forthcoming one I have planned Import wizard for Collection from common collection formats such as Magic Workstation inventory and MTG Online Collection CSV export.

The screenshot is of a DirectX version I am now investigating an OpenGL one. If it is OpenGL it would require not the 45MB installation of DirectX but instead 1.5MB opengl.dll.

Note though that the vast majority of people who play MtG are game enthusiasts. I am fairly sure that a large percentage would play computer games and therefore already have DirectX installed.

I know that most do but OpenGL can achieve the same results as DirectX and has the benefit of being portable (if future Java versions of MTG Studio are considered). Right now I am just considering it and performing plain tests.
